Last Thursday, the grounds of Winchester Cathedral lit up with energy and celebration as the city came together for the 2025 Winchester Business Excellence Awards. Among the evening’s highlights was the Best Small Business Award presentation, proudly sponsored by Hazeley Enterprise Park.

This year’s deserving winner, River Coffee Roasters, exemplifies everything the award stands for. Starting on a kitchen table in 2018, River has grown into a flourishing operation with a full team, an impressive production capacity of over one tonne of roasted coffee daily, and a strong reputation across Hampshire and beyond.
Presenting the award on our behalf was our Group Managing Director, Nikki Bream, who spoke passionately about the role small businesses play in building a vibrant, sustainable local economy.
