It has been great catching up with some of the recipients of our first Hazeley Enterprise Park Community Fund. We launched this annual grant scheme as part of our commitment to the Twyford neighbourhood to support local community activities in the village.
This year’s recipients included:
📚 Twyford St Mary’s C of E Primary School for a new set of thesauruses.
🎨 Twyford Playgroup for educational toys, including outdoor construction bricks.
👩💼 Twyford Ladies Club for monthly meeting costs.
🌍 1st Guides Twyford to enable volunteers to attend an international Girl Guide event.
🌳 Ballard Close Recreation Ground for jet washing.
🛠 Twyford Waterworks Trust for new volunteer hand tools.
📦 Twyford Bowls and Lawn Tennis Club for heavy-duty shelving.
🪑 Twyford Parish Hall for 20 new, comfortable chairs.
🏏 Twyford Cricket Club for junior section equipment.
We were inspired by the breadth of community activities, from early years to active seniors. The grant scheme will reopen in September, and we look forward to supporting more community activities.
