Hazeley Group doubles community grants for Twyford as Enterprise Park redevelopment nears completion

Hazeley Group is pleased to announce the reopening of its Community Grant Scheme for 2026. Now in its third year, the grant scheme supports grassroots organisations and local initiatives within the Parish of Twyford.

This year, grants of up to £500.00 are available to local schools, clubs, charities and community groups, double the amount awarded in previous years. The application process opens today, Monday, 7th September 2026, and closes on Monday, 2nd November. Applications will be reviewed by a panel comprising Hazeley representatives, tenants from the Park, and independent local residents. Successful applicants will receive funding in early January 2027.

Last year, seven community groups were awarded grants totalling £2,642.00. These included:

  • Twyford Playgroup – ADHD training course for all staff
  • Twyford St Mary’s Primary School – programmable floor robots to support digital literacy and coding
  • Ballard Close Recreation Ground – new play equipment
  • Twyford Bowls and Lawn Tennis Club – towards new fridges
  • Twyford Ladies Club – support with hall hire costs

Hazeley Group has an ongoing commitment to being a responsible and engaged neighbour as it delivers the development at Hazeley Enterprise Park. There has been recent major progress at this growing business hub on the edge of Winchester, with all bar one unit of the current phase being newly occupied or under offer.

“It’s a genuinely exciting time at the Park,” Sarah Andrews, Property Director at Hazeley Group “As we welcome new tenants and complete this final phase, we’re just as committed to investing in the community around us. The grant scheme is a big part of that.”
